These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, reservations, stays, and use of services provided by Muar Ey Deluxe Guest House.

By making a reservation through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking Agreement

A booking becomes confirmed only when:

• Payment has been successfully processed; and

• A booking confirmation has been issued.

We reserve the right to reject, cancel, or refuse any reservation at our discretion where necessary.

2. Guest Eligibility

The person making the reservation must:

• Be at least 18 years old;

• Provide accurate information;

• Be authorized to make the reservation on behalf of all guests.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in Time: 3:00pm

Check-out Time: 12:00pm

Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. Self Check-In

Where self check-in is provided:

• Guests are responsible for keeping access codes confidential.

• Access instructions must not be shared with unauthorized persons.

• The booking guest remains responsible for all persons entering the property using provided access credentials.

5. Identification Requirements

Guests may be required to provide valid government-issued identification before or during check-in.

Failure to provide identification may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund.

6. Maximum Occupancy

The maximum number of guests permitted is the occupancy limit specified for the booked accommodation.

Only registered guests may stay overnight.

Additional guests or visitors require prior approval.

Exceeding occupancy limits may result in:

• Additional charges;

• Immediate termination of stay; or

• Cancellation without refund.

7. Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are observed from:

10:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Guests must avoid excessive noise that may disturb neighbors or other guests.

8. Smoking Policy

Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, and similar devices are strictly prohibited indoors.

Guests who violate this policy may be charged:

• A cleaning fee of RM 300;

• Odor removal costs;

• Loss of revenue caused by room downtime.

Repeated violations may result in eviction without refund.

9. Durian and Strong-Smelling Food Policy

Durian is strictly prohibited inside guest rooms and indoor common areas.

Other foods producing excessive odors may be restricted at management's discretion.

Cleaning or deodorization charges may apply.

10. Property Care

Guests must maintain the property in reasonable condition.

Guests are liable for damage caused by themselves, their visitors, or members of their group.

Repair and replacement costs may be charged to the guest.

11. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit of RM 120 may be required before check-in.

The deposit may be used to cover:

• Property damage

• Smoking violations

• Excess cleaning

• Missing items

• Unauthorized guests

• House rule violations

Any remaining balance will be refunded after inspection.

12. Lost Keys and Access Devices

Guests are responsible for:

• Keys

• Access cards

• Remote controls

• Lockbox keys

• Access devices

Replacement charges include:

• Lost key: RM 50

• Lost access card: RM 50

• Lost remote control: RM 75

• Locksmith services: Actual cost incurred

13. CCTV Surveillance

For security purposes, CCTV monitoring may be conducted in common areas, entrances, exits, hallways, parking areas, and exterior spaces.

No surveillance occurs within guest rooms or private facilities.

Guests acknowledge the use of CCTV while on the property.

14. Parking

Parking is provided at the guest's own risk.

Muar Ey Deluxe Guest House shall not be responsible for:

• Theft

• Vehicle damage

• Loss of personal belongings

• Accidents occurring within parking areas

15. Prohibited Activities

Guests must not:

• Engage in illegal activities

• Host unauthorized parties or events

• Cause excessive disturbances

• Damage property

• Tamper with security equipment

• Allow unauthorized occupancy

16. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse accommodation, terminate a stay, or remove guests without refund where guests:

• Breach these Terms;

• Violate house rules;

• Cause disturbances;

• Create safety risks;

• Engage in illegal conduct.

17. Website Use

Users must not:

• Attempt unauthorized access to systems;

• Submit fraudulent bookings;

• Interfere with website functionality;

• Use the website for unlawful purposes.

18. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for cancellations, interruptions, or service failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control including:

• Natural disasters

• Floods

• Fires

• Pandemics

• Government restrictions

• Utility failures

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muar Ey Deluxe Guest House shall not be liable for:

• Loss of personal belongings

• Theft

• Personal injury

• Indirect or consequential losses

20. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
